I am looking for a first horse for my tall 14 year old daughter coming off a 14.1 pony. Preferably a gelding, aged 7 – 11, 15.2 – 16hh. I would prefer a horse that has been ridden by a teenager, not just adults; experience of competing in SJ, eventing, dressage, jumping 1 – 1.10. If it hunts, all the better! Good in traffic, safe, sane and sensible, good to catch, box, shoe, clip and to handle on the ground. No vices, not nappy or clingy, no rearers or bolters. This is very much a wish list and is not definitive – very willing to look at horses that don’t completely fit the bill. 5*  knowledgeable home with other horses and a competitive, experiencedjockey.

For Sale Super Hunting/Eventing Pony (15/03/18)

15 hands  Connemara Gelding, 11 years old

Very sad sale of Muffin as rider focused now on A-levels and hasn’t got the time.  Muffin is a superstar who we have owned for the last 5 years.  During that time time he has been hunted regularly with the Beaufort, attended PC events, and unaffiliated events, and camp.  Muffin needs a confident, keen, rider who wants to go out and compete now and hunt all winter.  He is fit and ready to go.  Hacks both alone and in company, has beautiful manners.  Will make a fantastic mother/child share.  5* home absolutely essential for this very special pony.

For loan – Dylan, 22 year old bay gelding. (08/03/18)

Dylan is 13hh 1” super child’s pony who loves attention. Has been a ridden with the Beaufort Pony Club for years and has attended numerous pony club camps and rallies. He turns his hoof at anything, showjumping, cross country, mounted games and even carriage driving. As he ages he is ready to quieten down and have a bit of an easier life but still has plenty to give to the right child. Would ideally be suited to a young rider who wants to hack and jump around 50cm. He has still has plenty of speed if required but is very calm on the lead rein. Never kicks, bites, bucks or rears.

Please call to discuss this beautiful gentleman – Alice 07725623351

Perfect First hunting and hacking pony for loan – ‘Chloe’ (17/01/18)

11.2 hands she is 28 years old and hates pony club and jumping but is perfect for very smalls to learn to ride and hack by themselves and a legend first hunting pony in the Beaufort hunt, having been through many children, on and off the lead rein. She is very much part of our family but is being wasted as my daughter has moved on and my 7 year old son isn’t interested enough.  She is incredibly kind and gentle and easy to keep, lives out. Fine in trailer or box. Just has front shoes. Needs to go to a loving home who will look after her as she is an old lady.

Please call to discuss more .
