CHRISTMAS TEAM SHOWJUMPING REPORT

The Beaufort Show Jumping Teams were out in force over the 2 days at West Wilts for the Avon Vale Christmas Competition. This is always so well run and very competitive being very well supported.

Results as follows..

Class 1. Very well done to The Beaufort Christmas Stockings. Madeline Adamson & Little Tip Top, Tom Beattie & Millie. Amy Peevers & Obie & Milly Harvey with Delyn who came Team 3rd.   The Beaufort Tiny Tinsels followed them into 4th place Beatrice Adamson & Millie Moo, Poppy Clark & Tonto, Rachel Hatherell & Thomas & Tom Beattie & Dreamie.

Individual places to Tom & Millie 2nd, Rachel & Thomas 6th Amy & Obie 7th. All members rode very well as the results show.

Class 2. A excellent Team 2nd for the Beaufort Christmas Stars Jack Beattie & Millie also 1st Ind, Madeline who also came Ind 2nd Emma, & Alex Harvey with Baygo.  A very pleasing result all round for them.   The Beaufort Christmas Crackers Amy Peevers, Rosie Pyle & Honeywell Boy, Charlie Clark & Tonto, Ella Pitman & Donny came Team 5th with Ella individually 9th.  Another good result.  The Beaufort Sleigh Bells Cecily Norbury & Fudge, Rachel, Jack & Lottie Moon had a very good try but were sadly out of the ribbons along with the 2 Individuals Annabel Slatter & Phoenix & Octavia Slatter & Ballinamora Ted.

Class 3 The Beaufort Christmas Bells Zoe Davison & Grampion Knight, Bethan McGleish & Charlie Brown, Ella & Annabel came an excellent team 2nd followed by The Beaufort Christmas Fairies in 5th place. Well done to Zoe & Accolino 11 Emma, Jack & Octavia.
Lettie Sturley with Riley rode as an individual.

Class 4. A 5th Team place for the Beaufort Christmas Baubles with Zoe Davison & Accolino11 also having a 2nd Individual Win along with Bethan & Lettie a very good result for a team of 3. Zoe also rode as an Individual with Grampion Knight.

We did not have so many Teams on the second day of competition but still had some good results with some new combinations l am sure will have a great future ahead of them.

Class 5. The Beaufort Christmas Stockings This last minute Team did very well in coming 5th Tom Edwards & Herbie, Lottie Whitmarsh & Oliver, Mirelle Abbotts & Mooch and Lottie Dickens very well done to you all.

Class 6 The Beaufort Christmas Stars. Thomas Kendell & Barney, Harry Kendell & Dennis, Paige Davey & Tequila Sunset & Tom Edwards a Team result of 6th with Thomas Kendell Individually 10th.  Lottie Whitmarsh also rode as an Individual.

Class 7 saw another Team 5th for The Beaufort Christmas Puddings The team of 3 Thomas & Harry Kendell with Paige Davey did very well.  Paige came 8th Individually.   Both competing as Individuals on new combinations Benjamin Darling & Sky Rocket 11 & Zara Neill Champion Owens rode very well.

Class 8 The only class over the 2 days we did not win a rosette!.   The Beaufort Christmas Bauble team of Mary Spencer & Opium, Benjamin Darling & Molly & Zara Neill & Champion Owens were unlucky on this occasion. Benjamin also rode Sky Rocket as an Individual.

Class 9 The Competition was to end on a high note with a Individual Win for Benjamin Darling & Molly in a very competitive class. Mary also rode as an Individual.

There will be more Team Show Jumping Competitions over this year. We like to give everyone who is interested a chance of having a go in the Inter Branch Competitions to get experience which could lead on to representing the Beaufort at the Area Competitions.
