Wearing Spurs

Belvoir Hunt Pony Club members wishing to wear spurs at pony club rallies and competitions and who have not passed their B test will need their membership card signing for each year.

Please send your card along with a stamped addressed envelope to:-

Mrs Sarah Robertson
High Dyke House,
Brauncewell,
Wellingore,
Lincoln.
LN5 0DL
Please try to do this well in advance of the competition you need the spur card for.

As you are probably aware when competing at any pony club branch’s competition you will most likely be asked to produce your membership card with your branch’s District Commissioner’s signature on confirming that you are allowed to ride with spurs.
If you have passed your B test then you must wear your pony club badge with the red disc.  So don’t forget to have either/or with you at all times otherwise you could well be asked to remove them.
NB Only blunt spurs without rowels of sharp edges, may be worn.  If the spurs are curved, the curve must be downwards and the shank must point straight to the back and not exceed 3 cm in length.
