Anyone interested in taking their Hunting Certificate can contact Karen Pickering MFH for more information . You need to be at least 12 years old and to be riding a pony that you are confident on and can control.
CHILDRENS MEET 2010
On Saturday 31st October, the Brocklesby Hunt hosted the Children’s meet at Little Limber Grange. There were well over 100 mounted followers, and about the same on foot!! The weather was very kind to us, the sun was shining and the ground conditions were excellent. The day started with drinks and nibbles kindly given by Mr. and Mrs. Kit Read in front of their magnificent house.
The field master of the day was Mr. George Sanderson, who gave a talk to everyone, introducing the Hunt Staff and their assistants. The trail was laid and the hounds began to speak almost immediately. A fun day was had by all with plenty of jumping for those who wanted to.
After a busy day “The Brocklesby Pony Club” hosted a hunt tea, many thanks to all the parents who brought refreshments, this was most appreciated by everyone.
