ABOUT US

  • The Cattistock Hunt Branch was established in 1931.
  • We are part of the Area 14 which includes 20 other Pony Clubs.
  • We are one of the largest branches in the area.
  • The emphasis of our Pony Club is to have fun with and without your pony/horse.
  • Area 14 Junior Horse & Pony Care Team Qualifiers 2011.
  • Area 14 Intermediate Dressage Team Qualifiers 2011.
  • Open Eventing Team 3rd at National Championships 2011.
  • Area 14 Junior Show Jumping winners 2011.

The Podimore Trophy presented by the Greenwood Family.

This trophy will be given to the member who writes the best description of a day’s hunting along with a short history of the Cattistock Hunt.  Click on The PODIMORE Trophy for more details.  The prize will be given along (date to be confirmed).

  • Friday night rallies at Kingston Maurward continue – Moira teaches the first session and Wendy/Delerie will be teaching alternate weeks (see rally page).
  • Christmas Show Jumping Competition Results – CHPC Indoor Show Jumping Results – 29-12-11
  • Congratulations go to one of our Junior Show Jumping teams assortment and pc toby jumping 191(Jo Bishop, Perdi Digby, Charlie McCosker and Alexa Palmer) who won the Area Competition in August.
  • Open ODE with Bruton School for Girls Team Competition –  Individual results are on our “Competitions” page.

HELPFUL TIPS

In this slot we have tried to remind you of things that might slip your mind – worming, teeth, flu vacs for the pony, stirrups, stirrups leathers and reins on the tack front and servicing your trailer.  If there is anything that you think we should put here please let me know.
