Polo is a relatively new discipline to the Cotswold Vale, and offers riders the chance to develop totally new riding skills, as it requires close team work, fantastic eye/hand coordination and a competitive spirt.  Team manager Bob Edmondson is highly-experienced, with her own two children competing to a high level and, in recent years Chris Dee’s sons, Robbie and Charlie, have represented England U21s.

‘Have a go’ taster sessions are organised during the year, and riders encouraged to develop their skills with specialist training.  During the last few years, the Cotswold Vale has successfully hosted a competition in July, held at Longdole Polo club, as a fundraiser, which continues to be well-supported.

Please refer to the regular e-mail newsletter or the Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt facebook page for training dates and competitions.

10.30am. Friendly, great fun and open to all – you don’t need special kit, sticks and balls will be provided, and you’ll be riding in a large outdoor arena. It does get pretty nippy up there, so wrap up warm! Longdole Polo Club – GL4 8LH.  Venue:
