PC games training 2018 .  Any member is welcome to come along to the rallies and any training sessions.  Members must be off the lead rein and under the age of 15 on 1/1/18.  We must know in advance if you are wishing to attend the rallies and training so groups can be arranged.  Please let Julie Weir or Alice Stockwell (email:  barnsmuir@yahoo.com )  know if you are planning on attending any of the following sessions.  We look forward to seeing you then. Road Rider. We have many members interested in doing this training and test so please indicate your interest to Fiona Morrison, fionahmorrison@yahoo.com  or 07789847553 (outwith office hours) so instructors, venues and examiners can be arranged. Fiona can also be contacted for further information. Places will be allocated in batches and we will continue to do these during spring & summer for members interested so all members will be given chance to train for and sit the test as members require it for C Test etc. but please appreciate not everyone can be in the first batch.
Efficiency tests. We are currently scheduling dates for 2018 for Pony Club Efficiency Tests and Ride and Road Safety for all members.   Dates have been organised for B+ training.  This is open to all members over sixteen years of age and who have sat B test. B+ Test is a non-compulsory test but is an excellent “stepping stone” halfway between B and A Test.  This is a one part, ridden only, test with no stable management. Please see ‘news’ page for details. B and B+ test and training dates have been issued by Fiona Morrison.
We are arranging C Test Exams to be held over the summer. More information regarding C test can be found on the Pony Club website http://www.pcuk.org  under training and tests. This is open to all members but the the recommended minimum age is 11. The Pony Club Training structure encourages Members to take tests which enables them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding. The tests are designed with certain objectives in mind, to help Members become practical and knowledgeable riders, proficient in caring for horses and ponies. We have arranged training sessions for 12th July  for any members who are interested in sitting C Test this summer.  If members are unable to attend but interested in sitting C Test please email Fiona and you will be notified when other dates are scheduled. Ponies will be required for these dates. Venue: Collessie . Instructor: Laura Anderson. If you have any questions please contact Fiona Morrison on fionahmorrison@yahoo.com or 07789847553 (outwith office hours).
