Dengie Winter Leagues – Show-Jumping and Dressage
Don’t forget that the Discipline Coordinators would love to hear from you if you qualify for the Regional Dengie rounds in either Dressage or Showjumping – we will be keeping a list of Hursley members who have qualified updated on the website!
The Dengie Winter Leagues are a great way to stay motivated over the Winter, and are open to all Pony Club Members. The Show-jumping starts at 90 cm (2’11”) for the Novice class – well within the capabilities of many of our members! The Dengie Novice dressage is the same test many of you rode last year in the Junior and Novice Challenge Areas, so again, lots of our members are more than capable of riding that test to a very high standard! There are many Pony Clubs and competition venues holding Qualifiers locally, so do look at our “What’s On” list!
If you would like to know more about the Dengie Dressage or Showjumping Competitions, please look on the main Pony Club website or call Deborah Leabeater or Clare Wall (Coordinators).
Hursley members qualified to date are:
Novice Dengie Dressage: Annie Haxforth and Fern,
Katie Robson and Truffles
Open Dengie Dressage: Julian Hill and Boss,
Victoria Leabeater and Jack,
Alice Pearse and Toby.
