RESULTS FOR 2012!
British Eventing Jump Training Competition
Chloe Mariani and Emily Watson have showed how well Pony Club and British Eventing can blend together, both reaching the BE Jump Training Finals at Solihull, early in April. Emily won her BE80 qualifier at Merrist Wood and came 6th in the Final and Chloe won her BE100 qualifier, also at Merrist Wood, and was 3rd in the final. A great achievement for them both and a big thumbs up to our branch’s instructors and training!
Showjumping at Sands Farm, Wednesday 15th February:
We had two teams for the Mini Showjumping at Sands Farm on Wednesday. The Blue Stars, comprising Catherine Barnwell, her sister Ellie and Kita Mussett achieved a fantastic 4th place and Kita was also 4th in the individual class.
Unfortunately the Silver Planets team of Isla Martin, Mischa Penn and Tobias Mussett were not placed.
Showjumping at Ardingly, 21st January
The Minimini team of Ivan Leggett, Verity Leggett and Rupert Scrase acquitted themselves very well but missed gaining a team place but Ivan had the honour of winning the class, individually!
The Mini team consisting of Rory Leggett, Daisy Coombe-Tennant, Mischa Penn and Isla Martin achieved a very creditable 4th place, producing smiles all round, even though it was a very long day!
