Pony Racing Camp

Please have a look at Hector Crouch’s report on the fantastic time

he had at the Pony Racing Camp run by British racing.

Hector Crouch went to the British Racing School last week for 5 days of Pony Racing Camp. Hector recently passed his Level 1 and 2 racing assessment at the school and then last week was back for their residential course. 5 days of race riding, stable management, turnout, mounted games with proffessional jockeys, visits round newmarket etc. 11 children attended and Hector was presented with the Endeavour Award at the end of the week, this was for Manners, Dedication, Trainability and Talent and entitles him to a free 1-1 lesson at the British Racing School. Most of all it was great fun!!!!!! Well done Hector.

 2010 News

Just wanted to say a huge welldone to all the children who competed over the last 2 Sundays at the Chid farmers Tet.  (Jemima Spurr, Lexie Spurr, Hugo Martin, Isla Martin, Araminta Reed, Tattie Reed, Ivan Leggett, Verity Leggett, Rhiannon Deeming, Rupert Scrase, Tobias Mussett) You were a real inspiration to the meaning of “team spirit” and you should all be very proud of what you achieved.
Special mention should go to Rupert  for coming 2nd overall and for a stoical effort in all the phases.  Also special mention to Rhiannon Deeming, who did brilliantly on her first attempt at triathlon by achieving 4th place individually and was also first in a team alongside Lexi Spurr, not forgetting the team of boys triathletes who won!
The team of biathletes with Verity Leggett and Tattie Reed were 2nd, welldone girls!  Also to Hugo Martin who won the Area 13 Junior Boys Tet Shield with a shoot of 900, an exceptional score!
Special mention should also go to Mrs Scrase’s “diagonal ” parking (she’ll know what I mean!),  to the girls’ Tet team’s cheerleading skills and to Mr Reed’s enthusiastic encouragement during the swim phase!
A lovely day for all !
Thank you,

Meriel
