Rallies

rally General Rallies.
To provide regular opportunities to attend rallies    suited to peoples individual abilities, the Monday general rallies are planned as follows.

Please make sure you are fully rallied up if you wish to be considered for any area competition!!!!!
must have attended at least 3 rallies before the end of June.

Please arrive at least 15 mins before the start of your rally to ensure that all rallies can start at their allotted time. The aim is for rallies not to over run but things don’t always go to plan. Please be patient if you find that the rallies are running late. Remember it is up to the member to contact the organiser for your allotted time. These will be posted on the Web site – look under Upcoming events
Rembember that if you cancel within 7days of a rally you will be charged unless that place can be filled.

This rally is suitable for all ages and abilities

Rally, Equipment & Turnout Guidelines

RALLY TURNOUT

Riders are expected to attend all rallies looking smartly turned out, wearing beige jodhpurs, Pony Club tie and dark hat cover, with a hacking jacket, Pony Club sweatshirt or plain dark sweatshirt.

Please do not wear any jewellery – this can cause injury in the case of an accident.

Boots should be black or brown, with heels. Half-chaps (without fringes) of the same colour may be worn with short boots.

Gloves are recommended.

Long hair should be firmly secured above the collar (preferably in a net).

Stocks and XC colours may be worn for XC rallies.

Waterproof coats to be worn as appropriate.

HARD HATS conforming to the current Hat Rule must be worn at all times when mounted and must be tagged – if you are a new member, or have a new hat, please get this done at a rally, or call Rosemary Reakes (01934 742672) 

 BODY PROTECTORS must be worn for all cross-country activities, and are recommended at all times when jumping. They should state the Beta Symbol followed by C.E.

SPURS are only allowed with the DC’s permission (unless you have passed B Test) and your membership card must be signed to this effect. Please check with your Instructor if you feel that spurs are an absolute necessity.

MEDICAL ARMBANDS must be worn for the cross-country phase of any Pony Club competition, with the insert completed in full for the person wearing it. Available from your Branch Secretary Cathy Provenzano (see ‘contact us’). Cost £3 (+50p if posted).
