National Competitions

At National level there are three levels of competition:

The Novice Challenge (1st round max .90m, 2nd round max 1m) only teams qualify but they do accept individual competitors
The Intermediate (1st round max 1m, 2nd round max 1.05m) only teams qualify but they do accept individual competitors

The Open (1st round max SJ 1.10m, 2nd round max 1.15m) teams and individuals qualify

At Area level ONLY:

Junior – 12 yrs & under (as at 1.1.10), ponies 14.2hh and under (1st round max .75m, 2nd round max .90m)

Interbranch Competitions

All interbranch show jumping competition entries are co-ordinated by Tracy Hole, tracyhole@googlemail.com. Any show jumping competitions that are within a reasonable distance will be emailed out to all members. If you are interested in a competition just let Tracy know which class/classes you would like to compete in and she will sort it out. If you want to know more please call for a chat.

Please note payment for competition classes will be required once the “return by” date, (identified on each email) is up. Unfortunately if you are not able to attend you will still have to pay for the classes that you have entered.

Show Jumping Training

We like to encourage members to enjoy show jumping at all levels and we hold regular sessions each week to improve technique and confidence for all ages. The average heights that we jump are from 1’9-2’9 but this depends on the class and every individual and their capability.
