Overseas Travel

Mid Antrim currently offers a financial contribution to members towards the cost of travel to overseas Pony Club competitions. This is something that our Club does voluntarily without any contribution from PCUK and is something that most other clubs do NOT offer their members.

In order to be eligible for financial reimbursement members must have competed at a Pony Club competition held outside of the island of Ireland and must have completed and returned the Overseas reimbursement application (attached here) no later than 31st October of the same year.
The level of reimbursement awarded is dependent on the financial situation of the club and may change each year.

As stated, Mid Antrim do not get any financial support for this from PCUK and we are one of very few clubs who do offer financial support to members for overseas competitions. This scheme relies entirely on the success of the fundraising events we hold each year, such as the April Two Phase.

Please do support our club in every way you can so the Club in turn can offer financial support to our members.

Please submit one application per member per competition. Members may submit as many applications as required, however this does not guarantee additional reimbursement. Each application will be considered at the November Committee Meeting and cheques will be issued before the end of the year.
The Committee will have final say over the amount awarded in each case and the Committee’s decision is final.
