TEAM SELECTION.

We have Team Managers for the various disciplines we participate in.

They are your first point of contact so please register your interest to the relevant Team Manager as soon as possible.

Everyone is welcome to apply for team selection. Current and past performance will be taken into account.

To be eligible for Area competitions, you must have completed at least three ‘working rallies’ since the 1st of July the previous year, including at least one working rally since 1st January this year. (Camp will count as one rally)

Team Selection:

Members wishing to be considered for Teams need to understand there is a process for selection.  Please see below:

  • For Area level and above (incl. Hickstead, Gatcombe and Blenheim) you must have re-joined the Pony Club by 28th February 2017.
  • You must have attended the required number of working rallies. Three for all activities except racing which is four.
  • You must be an active Branch member with a good record of attendance and be committed to your Pony Club.
  • You must attend the specific discipline training sessions.
  • You must have a good team spirit.
  • You must be competent to compete at the level required with a good record of at least three clear rounds in the height you wish to be entered into.
  • For certain competitions/and where numbers eligible exceed team places there may be a trial held at the relevant height. Current and past performance will be taken into account.
  • Details of competitions that are subject to a Team Trial will be communicated to the members at the appropriate time.
