We would like to send teams to the Area Quiz  At present the dates are not available but the Quiz should be in January or February and Horse. We are looking for as many people as possible to train and also for a volunteer from the parents to take on the quiz training, which can either be at their house or at North Hill Farm, Chorleywood.

The Area Quiz qualifies for the NFU National Quiz Final which will be held at The Sports Hall (Suggett Centre), Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell on Sunday 1st April, 2012.

The quiz will consist of 8 rounds and topics are as follows:
Round 1 – The Pony Club
Round 2 – Map Reading
Round 3 – Know Your Horse
Round 4 – Rider, Tack & Turnout for Different Disciplines
Round 5 – Practical Round (Individual)
Round 6 – Foot, Shoeing & Ailments (Pairs)
Round 7 – Equestrian Olympics & Paralympics
Round 8 – Picture Round.

Branch and Centre Teams must be made up of the following members:
1 member any age under 12 on 1st January, 2012
1 member any age under 14 on 1st January, 2012
1 member any age under 16 on 1st January, 2012
1 member any age under 21 on 1st January, 2012

The highest placed Branch and highest placed Centre from each Area will qualify for the National Final.  Should the qualifying team be unable or not wish to attend, qualification may be passed down the line to the next team able to attend.  Apart from the one team member who holds the AH test all other team members may hold up to and including the ‘B’ test.
