WE RUN VARIOUS EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR WHICH CONTRIBUTE TO OUR PONY CLUB SO MEMBERS CAN HAVE MORE TUITION AND BETTER JUMPS ETC
THIS ALL TAKES TIME AND REQUIRES LOTS OF VOLUNTEERS TO RUN THESE EVENTS.
ANYONE WITH A CHILD IN THE PONY CLUB SHOULD BE PREPARED TO HELP OUT AT LEAST ONCE IN SOME CAPACITY. THERE ARE VARIOUS JOBS FROM ORGANISING AN EVENT TO JUST GIVING UP A COUPLE OF HOURS AT THE EVENT – IF YOU THINK YOU (OR A RELATIVE/OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS) MAY BE ABLE TO DO THIS THEN CONTACT THE RELEVANT PERSON WHEN NOTIFICATIONS OF HELP REQUIRED ARE POSTED ON THIS PAGE.

QUORN HUNT POINT TO POINT

Please can we have volunteer racecard sellers, in particular children who have enjoyed hunting with the Quorn Hounds this season, but any member is welcome. Please contact Hon Secretary – Liz Murfitt 07976 812677 or liz.murfitt@sandicliffe.co.uk. For further information. A complimentary pass will be sent to all helpers. Racecard sellers need to be at Garthorpe for 11.00 a.m. The first race is at 1.00 p.m. and there will be 7 races, followed by 2 charity flat races. It is a great family day out, there will be various Trade Stands, Tote Facilities, Bookmakers and a Public Bar and the Quorn Hounds will parade before the first race. The racecourse is 6 miles East of Melton Mowbray on the B676.

* * WE NEED RALLLY SITES, PLEASE CAN YOU HELP? * *
We need about 6 acres of flat, secure land to hold our all day rallies on. If anyone has this type of land available that we could use, please contact Julie Mann (julie@jjmann.plus.com). Julie needs to know the time of year the land would be available for us to use because we struggle with venues in late spring and early summer due to people saving the grass for hay and silage.
