The Scunthorpe & District Pony Club Committee would like to make it known that the fences in Bagmoor Park belong to the Pony club only and no one else, the club put a lot of work into keeping these fences in good order and we spend a lot of money on them, anyone known to be jumping the fences at any other time than a rally or competition will be taken to task.

We shall be hiring the course out to other pony clubs for rallies or training, if you are interested please contact scunthorpe@pcuk.org for details.
Over the Winter period of 2011/12 the cross country course at Bagmoor has been altered yet again, most of all the water jump has really had a makeover, it has all been open up and fences put in offering many different routes, plus drops into the water at different heights, this has been a mammoth task, to clear the area of bracken and brambles and dig it out, week ends of work have gone in to this project.
Simon, Keith, Kerry and Jonathan have been working on the course to provide more challenging fences for the higher levels and some fences to help the novice riders build up their confidence over drop fences in to water, fingers crossed that we have some water, our members are really lucky to have a team of Dads Simon Barth, Keith Wilson, Jonathan Hopkins, Kerry Brown, that are willing to take on this course, plus others who went to help at the weekends, Karen Pavey, Neil Roberts, Christine Clifford, Liz Willerton, Katie Willerton, Sinead and Bridget Bramhill, if I have missed anyone please let me know,
Below are some photos of the water before and after the work has been carried out, it is not finished yet but will post photos of the finished complex. There are some jumps to add to this list, but haven’t got a photo of them yet.

Some of the hard workers on a clean up operation, these people who are office workers gave us a day of hard work
to help clear some new areas at Bagmoor. Thank you very much Colin and staff.
