Shooting Practices
Nicola will be doing shooting practice at Kirstens this Thursday 23rd May for anyone who wants to come up; this is specifically aimed at those doing inter-area at Bicton during half term. Usual times and if you could let Nicola know if you can come that would be great. nickrusin@hotmail.com

Polocrosse Practice at Mounted Rally 31st May
One of our past members, Ginny Faulkner who was a keen polocrosse player, has kindly agreed to come to the half term rally on 31st May to run some polocrosse lessons/practice sessions. A few years ago Ginny inspired several of our members to get together to form teams and our club had a brilliant time at the Pony Club Championships where we were Reserve Champions. Those who were involved had tremendous fun and it would be fantastic if we could get some current members interested in having a go. The club has its own balls and sticks which you can borrow.
Ginny will run the practice session in the afternoon of the rally. Please let Susie know if you are interested and we will try and make up some teams. Please email bucknalls@hotmail.com to find out more or to express your interest.

Windsor Horse Show – UK Tetrathlon Competition
HUGE congratulations to Dan Brimblecombe for a great weekend representing the South West Tetrathlon at last weekend’s Windsor Horse Show. 24 members from the UK (3 from each region) were selected to take part and the South West Team came 2nd with all three members being placed individually. Dan did brilliantly to come 9th with a fantastic run and near perfect ride on a borrowed horse. Unfortunatley Tuppy developed a slight cough last week, so they borrowed Fiddle from Annabelle Evans. It was very generous of Annabelle to lend Fiddle and I am sure she must be delighted and proud that he performed so well.

Team Showjumping at Lyneham
A huge well done and many congratulations to our two mini teams who competed at the Dartmoor Hunt PC Team Showjumping at Lyneham. 2nd placed team with just 20 faults were Rose Hollingsworth (who rode a double clear, one of only 3), Ellie Fincham, Francesca Edgington and Caitlin Wright. 6th placed team were Fleur Hollingsworth, Eleanor Simpson and Jessica Couch Finnemore. Sadly we didn’t have any midi or senior teams this year as we had so many people dropping out.
