Show Jumping

Show Jumping demonstrates the horse and rider’s courage and athletic ability, precision, speed and partnership.  The goal is to complete a course of coloured obstacles without any faults.

Rallies:

Show Jumping and grid work rallies are held monthly for minis, juniors and seniors at a variety of venues (please look at the forward programme).

Area Competitions – Open to all Members within Pony Club Area 14. It’s a qualifying competition for individuals and teams for the National and Regional Championships.

Note: Teams and individuals are selected by the Team Trainer and entries are made by the Team Coordinator Janet Lickiss.

National and Regional Championships – for teams and individuals that have qualified at the Area Competition.

Training for Teams and individuals:

Levels of competition range from 70cm to 110cm.  The best way to improve your show jumping is to attend our show jumping and grid work rallies. If you would like to put yourself forward for team or individual selection please contact Janet Lickiss and make sure you are available on both the Area and Championship dates.

For Area and Championship dates please check Dates for your Diary
