Show Jumping Competition
21st February 2024

Held at West Park Equestrian Centre, Tow Law, Bishop Auckland, DL13 4NR
Wednesday 21st February open to non-pony club members and adults.
Numbers for each class will be limited so get your entries in early to avoid disappointment. Entries will close once classes are full – this may therefore be before the closing date.

Class 1 X poles can be on the lead rein
Class 2 40cm can be on the lead rein
Class 3 50cm can be on the lead rein
Class 4 60cm no one who was on the lead rein in previous classes may enter this class
Class 5 70cm
Class 6 80cm
Class 7 90cm
Class 8 100 cm
Rosettes to 6th Place.

£15 for per class per horse.

RULES
* No skipping out on the car park. Please make sure all litter and droppings are removed including the car park and warm up arena.
* We would prefer that dogs were not brought to the event, if they are they must be on a leader at all times and you must pick up after them.
* Single phase jumping with the second half of the course timed.
* Hats must be worn at all times. PC Members must abide by PC hat rule (11) and hats need to be tagged.
* Ponies/horses must be tacked up properly and riders smartly dressed for all classes.
* Medical cover at our events complies with PC rules
* We reserve the right to refuse entries from those we feel are over qualified/or entered the wrong class.
* Maximum height of jumps in practice ring will be no higher than the class being jumped.
* Judges decisions are final; any objections must be accompanied by a deposit of £10 that will be refunded if the objection is upheld within 30 minutes of the class finishing.
*All horses or ponies to be at least 4 years old on the day of the competition
* All competitors and owners of horses/ponies take part in this event at their own risk. It is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches itself to the organisers or landowners with respect to loss, damage, accident, injury or illness however caused. If you are not a member of the pony club, you are strongly recommended to have your own insurance cover for at least 3rd party liability.
