Sunday 27th February 2011 - Mendip F armers TSJ at Stockland Lovell
Class 1 (under 10, 1’ 3” – 1’ 6”)
Our mini team pulled off a fantastic 2nd place in class 1. Congratulations to Oliver and Harrison Dummett, Yanis Hammick and Lauryn Turner.
As individuals, Yanis took 4th place and Oliver took 5th.
Class 2 (12 and under, 1’ 6” – 1’ 9”)
With the team one member short, Oliver stepped in to help the team take 7th place in class 2. Well done to everyone.
Saturday 6th November 2010 – Weston Harriers TSJ at Badgeworth
Again this week our very keen showjumpers turned out to represent Taunton Vale in the team and individual showjumping classes.
Class 1 - Lead Rein:
The early bird catches the worm and Oliver Dummett certainly did as he took 2nd place individual in the lead rein class bright and early on saturday morning.
Class 4 – 2′ 6″ – 2′ 9″ – Junior team:

At the other end of the day our junior team, looking beautifully turned out, took on nine other teams to take 5th place. With a tight and twisty course to negotiate, Pippa and Josh had fantastic clear rounds, whilst Olivia and Erin, having ridden the course very well, each had an unfortunate 4 faults.
Very well done to you all for your turn out and performance.

Saturday 30th October 2010 – Mendip Farmers TSJ at Stockland Lovell
With alot of encouragement from team manager, Zoe Pring, two Taunton Vale teams represented our Branch at the Mendip Farmers Team Showjumping.
Class 1 - 1′ 9″ – 2′- Mini Team:

- Ellie Clist
Our minis were up for a very early start – warm up 8 am, ready for 9.20 in the ring. The competition was run as a single round with 13 fences - 8 untimed, then straight into 5 timed fences. Quite a challenge for little ones to remember such a long course and all worked hard and pulled out the stops to get the team through to a great 5th place against 7 other teams. Ellie and Harrison achieved double clears.

Class 3 – 2′ 6″ – 2′ 9″ – Junior team:

A particularly challenging course lay in wait for our junior team as they arrived for their class, around mid-day, ready for 1.15 in the ring. Swirly fillers, water trays, a double-spread – they had it all. They put in an excellent effort on a course that was testing for both rider and pony with only 10 out of the 40 competitors in the class achieving a clear round – congratulations to Olivia for a double clear. With their usual determination and stoicism, they took it all in their stride, learnt from their experiences and will be bouncing back to face another challenge at Badgeworth next week.

Sunday 9th May – Quantock Branch TSJ at Stretcholt
The mini team showed amazing determination and great team spirit on Sunday to take second place over a challenging course at Stretcholt. Thanks to the Devon and Somerset Branch member who helped make up our team and to the Quantock Branch for their help and kindness to all the minis who took part.

Sunday 2nd May – Weston Harriers Branch TSJ at Stockland Lovell
Our mini team did the Taunton Vale Club proud on Sunday with a fantastic win in the showjumping – their first outing as a team. Well done all – keep up the good work.
