CFHS TETRATHLON AT PENRITH

12 Tynedale Members successfully took part……
Mini Minimus Jane Collier was 2nd individually, with the best run and Abigail Foster was 6th with a fantastic shoot of 720. Very Well Done !!!! The Team was mixed with Lucy Bailey from the SNPC and had the best overall TEAM SCORE.
ONE MORE MEMBER NEEDED TO MAKE A TYNEDALE TEAM FOR THIS SEASON!!
Jonjo Wood came 3rd individually against some really stiff competition. Very Well Done !!!
Minimus The minimus competitors had a promising first outing for 2012 and did very well to follow the run course in freezing fog!!!
Kay Errington 1990 pts, Mia Andreyeva 1728 pts and Alex Middleton-Yates 1698 pts.

Juniors The girls team of Kitty Waddell, Emilia Collier and Polly North Lewis did well, with Kitty having a shooting score of 820, Emilia with the best swim and Polly performing well across all 3 phases and securing 3rd place for the Team.
Open Girls Heather, Zepherine and Maddie finished 1st, 2nd and 3rd individually and were the 1st Team with a huge score of 7388 pts.
Well done to all for taking part (including the parents) and good luck to those competing at Casterton on the 12th February

THE TETRATHLON GIRLS WERE NOMINATED FOR THE
HEXHAM SPORTS AWARDS - The Trophy was won by the Tynedale Rugby Club Youth Team and our girls were given a Certificate of Merit very well done GIRLS!! Heather Crowe, Zepherine Warde-Aldam, Maddie Oliver and Libby Hancock…..

AGM and HALLOWEEN PARTY
It was lovely to see so many of you at the AGM/Halloween Party, as usual our resident party organiser Gail Brown did a great job in decorating the hall and organising games……….
First of all we were all treated to a wonderful slideshow of photographs taken by Verity Johnson- (all these photographs are available to purchase, please take a look at Verity’s website)
Emily Wilson who did extremely well in finishing 11th at Championships in the Intermediate Eventing brought along her dvd for us all to see, this was wonderful and gave an indication of what is possible through Pony Club.
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS TO:- HEATHER CROWE AND ZEPHERINE WARDE-ALDAM WHO PASSED THEIR C+ TEST ON THURSDAY….
Jane Dalgliesh was introduced to those who don’t already know her as our new Assistant District Commissioner, and Gail Brown was awarded a Pony Club Award for lots and lots and lots of years service.

TETRATHLON TROPHY was handed to Heather Crowe the Team consisting of Heather, Maddie Oliver, Zepherine Warde-Aldam and Libby Hancock came 2nd at the Championships at Hartbury.
DRESSAGE TROPHY was given to Eve Nicholson who achieved the best score at the Area Competition,
EVENTING TROPHY was given to Emily Wilson for her amazing achievements
SHOW JUMPING TROPHY was given to Jenny Kane for her contribution to the Team and kindness to Team Members at the Area Competition
JUNIOR TETRATHLON TROPHY: was given to Kay Errington
SENIOR CAMP TROPHY – was given to Maddie Oliver
MIDDLE CAMP BOYS TROPHY – was given jointly to Casper De-Wesselow and William Laws
MIDDLE CAMP GIRLS TROPHY – was given to Lucy Murray-Wake and was very well deserved.
JUNIOR CAMP BOYS – was given jointly to Jonjo Wood and Humphry Clark
JUNIOR CAMP GIRLS TROPHY – was given jointly to Issy Andreyeva and Molly Burn
JUNIOR SPORTSMANSHIP TROPHY – was jointly given to Fergus and Harriet Gibson
MIDDLE SPORTSMANSHIP TROPHY – was given to Heloise Gerber for willingly allowing other people to ride her pony
SENIOR SPORTSMANSHIP TROPHY – was given to Joanna and Victoria Harrison two sisters who are always willing to help.
Fiona Nicholson gave a short talk about Games saying that we had had a very good season with both a Senior and a Junior Team going all the way to Championships.
Special printed Rosettes with children’s and ponies names on were handed out by Jane for those children who went to the Championship……

THREE OF THE EVENTING GIRLS, Maddie, Heather and Zephrine gave us a talk about their experience at Championships and what an experience Very Well Done Girls !!
PLEASE BE ON THE LOOK OUT !!!!! for CFHS Trailer and Show Jumps that have been stolen from Brougham, Penrith last Wednesday worth £3000 + of plastic jumps, Jumps for Joy mainly but also a skinny, water tray and fillers. Loaded onto an Ifor Williams double axel galvanised box trailer with modified extended mesh sides. The sides can be unclipped for easy loading etc. The trailer has CFHS painted onto the underside. !!!!!!!!!!!!
