A superb day and first time tetrathlon for Chiara, Alfie and Anoushka, a great success with all the parents helping out and getting the them all at the right place at the right time and cheering them on all the way around the cross country course.
A great foundation for some budding future stars.

Chiddingfold PC ODE at Rogate
A very wet day at Rogate, proved difficult conditions for all who attended either on horse back or foot! But the Vine did manage to send out 3 teams the results are as follows:
Class1
Gemma Raymond – 7th individual
Tori McAlister – 7th individual
Anna Jones – best dressage
A special congratulations must go to Connie Pike though, who while out on her XC course came face to face with a loose pony in the woods, which she stopped to catch and lead back to the nearest fence judge before she continued on with her round!
Class 2
Georgia Bartlett – 4th individual
Olivia Bartlett – best dressage.
The Craven Inter-Branch Team and Show Jumping Competition
On Sunday 15th May The Vine took two teams and a few individuals to the Craven for their annual inter-branch show jumping competition, we were slightly lower on numbers this year due to many members competing at the Stoner Inter Schools One Day Event and the very hard going! However that was not going to stop the Vine and as you can see the results speak for themselves. Congratulations must go to all the Vine members for taking part and contributing to making this such a successful day for us – well ridden everyone!

On Monday 2nd May The Vine took two teams and a couple of individuals along to the Bisley One Day Event at Chobham. The Bisley is always a testing course and we had entries in all three levels, all Vine members did extremely well and were a credit to The Vine Pony Club. The results are as follows:
Class 1
Gemma Raymond 2nd individual
Class 2
Team A consisting of Emma Lawrence, Tom Burton and Byron Schiverener were unfortunately unplaced but all had a successful first outing out this season.
Team B consisting of Alice McGonnel, Lotty Ledger and Laura McAlister were placed 3rd team, with Alice coming 3rd individually in her arena and Lotty also coming 3rd individually in her arena.
Class 3
On time of going to print we were still not sure of the result of Jessica Ledger who had a very good dressage and clear cross country with just one pole down show jumping.
Well done everyone for a very successful day for the Vine and if any of you have been out representing The Vine at any events please let us know so we can add it to the website and Hoofprint.
