The V.W.H. Hunt Pony Club was one of the first branches of the Pony Club founded in May 1930. We are located around the counties of Gloucestershire and Wiltshire, taking in the towns of Cirencester, Lechlade and Swindon. We are one of 21 branches within Area 9: members can find news, training and competition dates on the Area 9 website.

We like to involve all our members in a variety of activities with lots of support available to all. Our District Commissioner is Georgie Davies who is very knowledgeable and welcoming.  Please contact us with any suggestions, questions or support.

Our branch is very active –  in a typical year we run approximately 90 rallies and training sessions for all our members from the smallest on the lead rein up to those competing nationally. Regular venues include Rectory Farm, Seven Bridges Farm in Cricklade and Wickstead Farm.

In the summer we hold our very popular camps for our minis, juniors, and seniors, all with an emphasis on horsemanship and fun. However you must be a paid up member of the VWH Branch by 1st July 2024 in order to attend our camps.

Our dressage, show jumping, eventing and tetrathlon teams train hard and continue to be successful at all levels.

To enjoy all we can offer, you must be a member. If you would like to join our Pony Club or if you are an existing member who would like to renew, please click here
