For loan (available from autumn): Casper, 13.3hh New Forest pony
We are looking for an experienced, loving loan home for Casper, starting from the autumn (once the eventing season is over). He is an ideal second pony (not suitable for a novice rider as he is forward-going and can be strong). A great all-rounder, he loves jumping, does a very nice dressage test and is excellent to hack alone or in company. Lovely to handle and 100% box/shoe/clip/teeth etc. Happy to live in or out, he’s a fantastic Pony Club pony who thrives on being busy. Would suit a confident 10/11 year-old who wants to compete and enjoy all Pony Club activities. He’s just turned 19 but you’d never know it! In excellent health and fully vaccinated. 13.2hh 6yo fantastic PC pony, temperament to die for, handled daily by my children aged 5&6. Jumping 80/90cm with ease, she would be perfect for someone wanting to do PC, BE, WHP, showing, huge scopey jump, snaffle mouth, very safe, potential to go much further with the right rider, 3 lovely paces, also jumps xc, lovely pony to have around, easy in all ways. Hacks alone or in company, good in traffic, farmyard equipment. Happy to live in or out, good doer, bare foot, good with farrier, loads/travels well.
12 yr old 13.3 grey mare.
Having hunted for four seasons with the Beaufort and team chased, she was bought at the end of 2013 as a first pony for a then 10-year-old. Unfortunately this child is now 13 and 5ft 8 so the Prec is sadly for sale as totally outgrown.
She has three nice paces and a basic lateral work in place, represented West Kent Sevenoaks pony club at Novice area dressage this year and has scores of over 70% at this level as well as plus 60% Novice and capable of more. She also won local dressage championships and was placed at the under 25 at Hickstead. She also took part in the Strictly Come Dressage at Oldencraig as a unicorn!
She hacks alone and in company, goes first/last etc and is always well behaved. Been to junior camp (she was the bandaging model) last year and will be available after senior camp this year ( week ending 30th July) . She happily jumps a course of 75 cm and single fences of bigger. Loves cross country; ditches, water, steps etc not a problem. Was used as a C+ pony for another member last season.
Good to shoe, box, clip etc and is a wonderful pony to have around. Will stand in the yard for hours to be brushed, plaited etc and current jockey regularly rides her to the field bareback in a head collar. Very sad sale as current jockey is moving on to horses.
She is on Regumate which works wonders and is priced accordingly. Other than this she is 100 % sound and vice free. Photos and video available on request.
£3,500 ono; tack negotiable.
