OBH South Hunter Trials – 15 April 2012
Wokingham was represented by seven of our members at teh OBH South Hunter Trials on Sunday 15 April. They were Izzy Blumenthal (Cascade), Lillie Browne (Heather), Rachel Cawley (Ryan), Abi Cordell (Billy), Courtney Gibson (Harvey), Jade Ross (Tizzy) and Holly Woodford (Jupiter).
We were very fortunate with the weather and the OBH South PC put on a great competition – the courses were tricky and the
speed of the classes was quite fast! I am very pleased to say that we had some great results which you can see below and a Very Well Done to all who took part!!
Class 1 (2’3 Pairs) Lillie Browne and Rachel Cawley were placed 2nd
Class 2 (2’3 Indv) Izzy Blumethal was placed 4th
Class 3 (2’6 Indv) Holly Woodford was placed 6th
Easter Monday Dressage at Eashing Farm – 9 April 2012
Chiddingfold Farmers’ PC Team Dressage competition took place on Easter Monday. Wokingham sent two teams for the Novice classes and two individuals , one to each of the Intermediate and Open classes.
This competition is always well attended and is seen as an important dressage fixture for Area 13 branches and the standard of competitors was high as usual.
The Wokingham Novice Team competitors were:-
Wokingham Yellow – Mollie Moore (Goldie), Becky Storer (Fudge), Lillie Browne (Heather) and Sophie Shaw (Lottie)
Wokingham Blue – Georgia Sayles (Tallulah), Rachel Cawley (Ryan), Courtney Gibson (Harvey) and Francesca Clapham (Shayler)
The team classes took place in the morning and despite the rain, both teams tried very hard and represented us with credit!! Whilst no one was placed, their team spirit was fantastic and they supported each other well..
In the afternoon our two individual competitors, Celia and Daisy Marino, battled with the rain and both were placed in their classes Celia and Enzo came 3rd in the Intermediate class with Daisy and Tobermory Bay achieving 6th place in the Open. Daisy was also 3rd in her Warm up class so very well done to both of them!
Wokingham Branch of the Pony Club Hunter Trials – 18 March 2012
If you would like to receive your rosette please send an SAE (Stamped Addressed Envelope) to the Secretary of the Event ensuring that it is big enough for a rosette to fit in! Please also make sure there is sufficient postage on the envelope!

Area 13 Dengie Show Jumping Final – 10 March 2012
Very well done to Lucy Peterson and Unstoppable Dream (Polly) who were placed 5th in the Area Dengie final held at Merrist Wood last Saturday.
Sadly for Lucy she is one place outside of gaining a slot at the National Final but this is still a brilliant result as this is a very hard fought competition!
Very well done to her and Polly.
Wokingham Open Indoor Show Jumping at BCA – 19 Feb 2012
Many thanks to everyone who helped with or preparing for the Show on Sunday. We could not do it without you!
We were very lucky to have a bright sunny day and everything ran very well with lots of great feedback from competitors who said they enjoyed taking part.
Very well done to our members who were placed – details below. A very special well done to Lucy Peterson and Unstoppable Dream who WON the Dengie Qualifier class with a very impressive quick time in the jump off phase. They will be representing our Branch at the Area final on 10 March and we wish them lots of luck with that!
