To ensure sessions run safely and effectively, we ask all volunteers to follow the guidelines below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

Eligibility<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Volunteers must be at least 13 years old.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Helper Numbers<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

A maximum of two helpers are permitted per rally group.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Lead Rein Sessions<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

A 1:1 helper-to-rider ratio is required.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Behaviour and Conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Volunteers are expected to: <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Avoid using mobile phones during sessions <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Use appropriate and respectful language <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Act as positive role models <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Demonstrate good horse and pony care <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Follow instructions from coaches and organisers<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Before and After Sessions<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

At the beginning of each session: <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Introduce yourself to the instructor <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Ask how you can help<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

At the end of the session: <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Check back with the instructor <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Confirm any tasks completed <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

– Help tidy and put away equipment where required<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Clothing and Safety<\/strong> <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Wear suitable, practical clothing and footwear <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Follow all Pony Club safety rules and guidance<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

Our Volunteers are Leaders<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

\n

We encourage volunteers to be: <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

– Reliable and approachable <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n

– Willing to help <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n
