CLASSES

Class 1. PC Walk & Trot Dressage 2022 for those not
competing in classes 2-9

Class 2. Warm Up for the Grassroots & PC70 Area Dressage. – PC Intro to Dressage Test 2019

Class 3a. PC 70 Area Dressage 13 & Under – Individual & Team – Preliminary PC70 Dressage Test 2022*

Class 3b. PC 70 Plus Area Dressage 14 and over on Jan 1st of current year – IndividualPreliminary PC70 Dressage Test 2022

Class 4. Grass Roots Dressage -Team & Individual – Grassroots Test 2018

Class 5. Warm up for the Novice Area Dressage. – PC Eventing Test 2013

Class 7. Novice Dressage – Team & Individual. – PC Novice Dressage Test 2020

Class 8. Intermediate Area Dressage – Team & Individual. – PC Intermediate Dressage Test 2024

Class 9. Open Area Dressage – Team & Individual – PC Open Dressage Test 2020

 

All entries are subject to a non-refundable booking fee which will be stated online on a per class
basis.

To be run in accordance with Pony Club Dressage 2024 rulebook, available online to view or
download from the Pony Club website, or hard copies can be bought from Amazon.
Eligibility: All rules are available at – https.//pcuk.org/dressage/

Bib Numbers preferred.

Hard Hats which comply with Pony Club rules must be worn. All hats must display the current
(Cerise Pink) tag.

Passports: Horses/ponies will not be allowed to compete without their passport with valid flu
vaccinations with a booster within the last 12 months of the date of the competition. No
horse/pony may have had a vaccination within 7 days of the competition – Passports will be spot
checked for compliance. A horse with a non- compliant passport will NOT be allowed to
compete and there will be no refund of entry.

Once your entry has been submitted and paid for, any changes/ alterations must be carried out
by the organising branch, Please email darevalley@pcuk.org with requests.

Withdrawals – Withdrawals prior to the entry closing date a full refund of entry fees will be given.
Withdrawals after the closing date will not be refunded.

Substitutions – please see page 12 of the PC Dressage rule book.

Team Information – riders/horses names must be sent by email to the organisers
darevalley@pcuk.org by 6/7/2024, alterations will be accepted.

Organisers reserve the right to cancel, merge or alter any class depending on entries.
Excessive use of the whip, spurs or voice will result in elimination or ejection from the show
ground. Rudeness or failure to obey a direction given by a judge, steward or official will result in
ejection from the show ground.

The judge’s decision is final. Objections must be lodged with the secretary in writing with a
non-refundable £10 deposit within 30 mins of the end of the class.

Dogs must be on a lead at all times. All litter, horse manure and dog poo bags must be taken
home.

* Class 3a & 3b are qualifiers for the Rectory Farm Regional Championships, 3a as
individuals and teams. Riders must be 13 years and under on the 1st January 2024 and
as a Combination must not have competed at Grassroots or above at Area or Regional level in any previous year. (For eligibility
please see page 10 of the Rulebook) Class 3b Individual qualifications only.
