The Area 10 Quiz was held on 6th February.
The results were: 1st. Crickhowell. 2nd. Llangeinor. 3rd. Curre. 4th. Llangibby
The winners of the Centre competition was Talygarn, taking first and second places.
The Final is being held on Saturday, 2nd April at Addington Equestrian Centre, Addington, Buckingham, MK18 2JR in conjunction with the Dengie Winter League Show Jumping Championships as the Chairman wished this to stay with Dengie instead of being a stand-alone event.
Unfortunately the restaurant on the first floor, where the quiz is being held and overlooks the jumping arena, can only accommodate the teams and not the parents/spectators as well. The Practical Round will be located the other end of the arena in a slightly smaller room where groups of competitors will be able to view the objects displayed on the tables.
The restaurant can be seen from the arena and there are plenty of seats to view the Show Jumping and also keep an eye on developments in the quiz. Parents and spectators can meet up with their teams during the lunch break.
There is also a cafeteria downstairs where spectators can buy food and refreshments but it may be advisable for the teams to bring their own sandwiches, drinks etc with them during the lunch hour.
