Area Tet qualifier
Regrettably the Area Tet has had to be cancelled through lack of support but anyone interested in doing the qualifier can enter the Area 9 competition on 24/25th July (note that this clashes with our Area 10 SJ competition).
Schedule is on Horse Events open to all Areas/Tetrathletes.
Area 10 Tet Qualifier

I hope that you have all managed to keep things together during the last twelve months owing to Covid and the various restrictions.  I’m sure you must be feeling relieved that things seem to be slowly getting back to normal.  I must admit that it is great to be getting out and about again.

Please find attached a copy of our Area 10 tetrathlon schedule which includes our Area 10 tet qualifier.  The ride phase is being held at Leyland Court Equestrian Centre on Saturday, 3 July and all foot phases will be at Monmouth Schools Sports Centre on Sunday 11 July.

I know many of you are organising your own tet qualifiers, but we welcome competitors from all Branches and Areas.  We will be using Leyland Court for the ride phase of our tet and you are welcome to join us, either to compete or as an opportunity to just do the ride on the XC course.  Owing to the small number of events and recent cancellations, this may give competitors the chance to sharpen up their XC skills in readiness for future events.

For our Intro and Beanie competitors, we will be using the Leyland Derby Arena.  This provides our younger riders with the excitement of jumping wooden fences and tackling natural obstacles on grass.

We very much look forward to seeing you in July.  In the meantime, if you have any queries please email or ring on 07889 864350.  Kind regards

Deborah Hill – Area 10 Tetrathlon

2021 Open Eventing Champs
We are delighted to announce that we will be holding The Pony Club Open Eventing Championships, the PC110, at the prestigious Wellington International Horse Trials and Country Fair at Hook, Hampshire, just south of Reading. The event is running over the weekend of August 28th-30th 2021.
We appreciate this is at the same time as many of our Grassroots Regional Championships, however, our Eventing Committee Chairman, Charlotte Rowell, and a team of volunteers have worked tirelessly to secure the best venue for our Eventing members to compete at the highest level.
In a busy season of activity with much uncertainty, Wellington organiser David Sheerin, and his team have given Pony Club members such a fabulous opportunity to compete at a great event and in excellent international company.
We will be able to advertise the exact dates in early August once we have an idea of the numbers entering both the Wellington International and also our PC110 class.  To help you with your planning, the Dressage may be on 29th/30th, Show Jumping on 30th and Cross Country on 30th or 31st.  There will be stabling available next door to the competition and more details will follow later.
We would like to thank David Sheerin and his team who rose to the challenge of helping The Pony Club and we are grateful for their flexibility and support. Wellington International Horse Trials and Country Fair is going to be a fantastic event for all, and I look forward to seeing our talented Members out on the course!
