All C+ Assessors now have to have done a Soft Skills course – up until now it was B test assessors and above.
Please see attached flier for the course being run by Dr Will Harrison for Area 14, on 15th May, via zoom. 6.45pm. This will be a follow on from the face to face C+ and spurs CPD being run on 14th April. Both events are on Horse Events for booking.
The course is relevant to DCs, team trainers as well as coaches, so all are welcome in addition to your C+ assessors. The zoom link will be sent to all those booked in.

From January 1st 2025, any member wishing to ride with spurs MUST have achieved their C+ Riding Test or the Spurs Achievement Badge. Many thanks to the Training Committee for their consideration of the use of spurs and the rewriting of the C+ Test and the badge. More information to follow
We are running a repeat of the Spurs Test CPD for C+ and B Test Assessors, and all coaches. It will cover the new Spurs Test syllabus. This CPD aims to clarify the skills needed to coach for and assess the Spurs Test.
Please note that Spurs Test Assessors need to have attended a Spurs Test CPD and also be C+ assessors.
10.00-15.30 The day will be run by Clare Turner and Sue Stevenson and will focus on a variety of practical areas to support the online training and help prepare you for your B & AH assessment.
