Tetrathon is a four phase competition; Shooting (or bean bag throwing for under 8 years); Swimming; Running and Riding (cross country or arena jumping). Many of the branches and some of the centres offer this competition.<\/h6>\n
In Area 16 and 15 there is a series of triathlons mostly in the winter (shoot\/bean bag, run and swim). The best three scores from these events culminate in the Winter League Result at a competition in March usually held by the East Cornwall Event.<\/h6>\n
One event in each area is chosen to be the qualifier for the National Triathlon Championships at the end of March.<\/h6>\n

Several branches run full Tetrathlons usually in the summer. The Area Event usually alternates between Area 15 and 16 and is held in June or July to qualify for the national Tetrathlon Championships in August.<\/p>\n
