It is with great sadness that we write to inform you that the Chipping Branch Secretary Daphne Garment passed away on Sunday afternoon,  28th September.

Daphne, with her husband Gordon, set up Chipping Branch of The Pony Club in 1977 and Daphne became Secretary in 1979. Daphne and Gordon’s children went through Pony Club as did several of their grandchildren.

Daphne was a fantastic advocate of everything Pony Club and enjoyed watching the progress of members as they grew in confidence and ability. She was always really interested in everyone’s ponies and horses and would be always on the look out for good, suitable Pony Club ponies.

Daphne had a great approach to life and was a superb, loyal, sensible, informed member on the Chipping committee.

She will be greatly missed by us all.
