The basic rule under PC Rules as per the Handbook (Rule 10.9 page 45) is that for Area Competitions and above, Members must have been to a minimum of three working rallies since the previous 1st July, to be eligible to represent their Branch. Camp counts as one Working Rally.
However the various sports have specific rules that elaborate on this and the rules also have rules for riders and horses/ponies in some cases different or more prescriptive

The following write up is from Beatrice Taylor, our Area 5 representative for the Wales and Borders tetrathlon team at the Windsor Horse Show!
After receiving the exciting news that I had been selected to represent Area 5 at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, we were finally heading down to London. My brother, Rufus, was also competing at Windsor, in the NSEA Show Jumping with Lola, so it was going to be a busy weekend. It took 6 ½ hrs to get there and we’d been told all the lorries were being towed on and off Windsor Park due to torrential rain. We stabled overnight offsite at Cowarth Park, with lots of grumpy polo ponies. My great friend, Kiera Booth, came with us and helped with the ponies, she helped calmed me down too and was a good friend to share the experience with. From 5.00pm (19th June) and 2.00pm (or earlier dependent on entries). Based on some unique exercises developed by Shane Rose, Australian Olympic Rider, to aid horses and ponies to jump more effectively and correctly. Group sessions, no more than 4 in a group
