COLLAGE RESULTS AREA 5

Entry numbers were disappointing but thank you to those members who “had a go”.

The winner of the over 11 group was an excellent collage from Anglesey Branch which was a clever underwater scene.

The winner of the younger age group was from Miss Heard age 9 Flint and Denbigh branch – a horse jumping under a rainbow. Very imaginative.

2nd place went to an Anglesey Riding Centre member age 11.  Horse riders by the beach.

WELL DONE and GOOD LUCK

The AREA 5 QUIZ was hosted by Cheshire Hunt North Branch on Saturday. March 6th. It took place online with the help of Bramham Moor Branch and thank you to Joan Deakin and her team for all their hard work.

Well done to those Branches who raised Teams to compete and support this competition. It is as much work to put it on for 6 teams as it is for 20 !

RESULTS can be found on the main PC website ( Ponyclubresults.co.uk ) but the winning Branches were ChHNorth AND Sir WWW who could not be separated – even after a tie break round ! Scoring 57/70 each.
Gwynedd Branch did well and came 3rd.

  • ChHNorth members were: Bella Craggs, Daisy Caldwell, Ellie Thomas and Hannah Pedley.
  • Sir WWW members were: Hope Hancock, Jemima Young, Lucy Fox and Scarlett Gilruth.
Congratulations to those teams.

Only one Centre competed – GORSWEN on Anglesey – and with 2 teams – one of which were the overall winners with a score of 64/70. So a special well done to them.
  • The team was: Skye Clarke, Niamh Reid, Lili-Wyn Furlong and Lauren Hodgson.
The Final of the Quiz is taking place on Saturday April 24th. We wish these 3 teams the very best of luck at the Final and thank you for representing Area 5.
