Area 6 will be holding a Winter League Triathlon competition for all members in Area 6, from 1st October 2025 to the 31st March 2026.<\/p>\n

The League will run across 10 classes, involving as many Area 6 members as possible. Members will not have to register or pay to be a part of it but will automatically be entered by competing at any of the participating competitions. For those members, and solely those members, that must move up a class from January 1st, 2026, their points up to Dec 31st, 2025, will be transferred across to their new class so they can compete totally across the \u2018league season.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Triathlon League will be administered by the Area Rep, or a person nominated by him. They will be responsible for compiling and updating the league table after each competition and publishing the results.<\/p>\n

The Competition will comprise of the following ten classes:<\/p>\n

Class 1 Beanie Boys.<\/p>\n

Class 2 Beanie Girls.<\/p>\n

Class 3 Tadpole Boys.<\/p>\n

Class 4 Tadpole Girls.<\/p>\n

Class 5 Minimus Boys.<\/p>\n

Class 6 Minimus Girls.<\/p>\n

Class 7 Junior Boys<\/p>\n

Class 8 Junior Girls<\/p>\n

Class 9 Senior\/Open Girls*<\/p>\n

Class 10 Senior\/Open Boys*<\/p>\n

An Organising Branch may offer additional Classes, but these Classes will not form a part of the League Competition. Branches wishing to host a league competition should send details and dates to the Area Rep so they may be advertised and included in the series. Branches must publish all results on Pony Club Results for the event to be part of the League.<\/p>\n

Classes must be run as per The Pony Club Tetrathlon\/Triathlon Rule Book 2025\/6 after Jan 1st, 2026.<\/p>\n

Points will be awarded solely to the finishing place within Area 6 entries. For example, should an Area 6 Member finish 2nd to a non-Area 6 member, the Area 6 member would receive the points for first place.<\/p>\n

Points will be awarded regardless of the number of entries in a class.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Members must have competed in three or more participating League Competitions to be included in the full and final results at the end of the series in Marcj 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be no double points awarded this year for The Area Triathlon Qualifier.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Points will be awarded as follows \u2013<\/p>\n

1st\u00a0 \u2013 10<\/p>\n

2nd \u2013 8<\/p>\n

3rd \u2013 6<\/p>\n

4th \u2013 4<\/p>\n

5th \u2013 3<\/p>\n

6th \u2013 2<\/p>\n

Unplaced completion \u2013 1<\/p>\n

* Please note that for all Senior Boy and Girl Classes \u2013 full points will be awarded to both categories even in a mixed class.<\/p>\n

An additional 2 bonus points will be added to the score of those winning Best Run, Best Swim and Best Shoot\/Throw at all events.<\/p>\n

The competitors with the highest number of points over the whole series will be the winners. In the event of equality, the competitor with the best score at The Area 6 Triathlon Qualifier in March will be deemed the better placed member.<\/p>\n

The Qualifying Competitions for The Winter League Triathlon are \u2013<\/p>\n

25th October 2025 – The South Trent at Bingham –\u00a0South Trent Tri Online Entry <\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

30th November 2025 – The Rufford\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

10th January 2025 – The Cottesmore\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

8th February 2026 – The South Notts\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

15th February 2026 – The Fernie<\/span><\/p>\n

8th March 2026 – Area 6 Winter Qualifier\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please note further dates maybe added should other Branches host a competition within the timeline.<\/p>\n

At the end of the season a presentation will be made with rosettes to the top six finishers in each class with prizes from 1st to 3rd.<\/p>\n

The Area Branch League will be determined by the addition of all the points from individuals representing their branch across all six tests.<\/p>\n
