THE AREA 6 WINTER LEAGUE SHOW JUMPING 2026\/7<\/span><\/h3>\n

Running along the same lines as The Eventing League, Area 6 will be holding a Winter League Show Jumping Competition for all members in Area 6, from 1st October 2026 to 30th April 2027.<\/p>\n

The League will run across eight Height Classes, involving as many Area 6 members as possible. Members will not have to register or pay to be a part of it but will automatically be entered by competing at any of the participating competitions.<\/p>\n

The Show Jumping League will be administered by the Area Rep. He will be responsible for compiling and updating the league table after each competition and publishing the results.<\/p>\n

The Competition will comprise of the following eight classes and members are not restricted to one class:<\/p>\n

Class 1 30cms (Lead Rein Only)*<\/p>\n

Class 2 30cms (Assisted or Unassisted)<\/p>\n

Class 3 40cms<\/p>\n

Class 4 50cms<\/p>\n

Class 5 60cms<\/p>\n

Class 6 70cms<\/p>\n

Class 7 80cms<\/p>\n

Class 8 90cms<\/p>\n

Class 9 100cms and over<\/p>\n

* Please note The Lead Rein Class is only for true lead rein competitors, if a member rides accompanied or unaccompanied in another class at the event then no points will be awarded in the lead rein section.<\/p>\n

Area 6 Winter League Show Jumping Qualifying Competitions \u2013<\/p>\n

Please note \u2013 not all classes will be available at all events. Classes that carry League Points are marked with an * on The Area 6 Calendar\u00a0PONY CLUB AREA 6 ONLINE CALENDAR<\/a><\/p>\n

11th Oct – Brocklesby Show Jumping – Hill House EC<\/span>\u00a0– Brocklesby SJ Online Entry<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

18th Oct – Fitzwilliam Show Jumping – Milton Park, Peterborough<\/span>\u00a0– Fitzwilliam SJ Online Entry<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

31st Oct – Grove Show Jumping – Milton EC – Grove SJ Online Entry<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

1st Nov – Fernie Show Jumping – Green Lane EC –\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

6th Dec – Fernie Show Jumping – Green Lane EC –\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

13th Dec – Grove Show Jumping – Milton EC – Grove SJ Online Entry <\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

28th Dec – Meynell Christmas Show Jumping – Field House EC – Meynell SJ Online Entry <\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

10th Jan – Fernie Show Jumping – Green Lane EC –\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

7th Feb – Spring Festival Show Jumping Qualifier – Arena UK –<\/span><\/p>\n

14th Mar – Fernie Show Jumping – Green Lane EC –\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An Organising Branch may offer additional Classes, but these Classes will not form a part of the League Competition. Branches wishing to host a league competition should send details and dates to the Area Rep so they may be advertised and included in the series. Branches must publish their results on Pony Club Results to be included within the League.<\/p>\n

Classes will be run under The Pony Club Show Jumping Rule Book 2026.<\/p>\n

Riders may ride more than one horse at any or the same level as each horse\/rider combination will be awarded points separately. Please note you must enter each event using the same name for your horse\/pony at every competition you attend, otherwise your points will go to each horse name you ride.<\/p>\n

Points will be awarded solely to the finishing place within Area 6 entries. For example, should an Area 6 Member finish 2nd to a non-Area 6 member, the Area 6 member would receive the points for first place. This will also be the case in mixed sections of Pony Club and Non-Pony Club Members.<\/p>\n

Points will be awarded regardless of the number of entries in a class.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Combination of Horse and Rider must have competed in three or more participating League Competitions to be included in the full and final results at the end of the series in April 2027.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the PC30 class, there will either be a separate class for Leading Rein Riders or if it is run as one class then two sets of points will be awarded, one set to Leading Rein and one set to Non Lead Rein.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be no double points awarded this year for The Area Spring Festival Qualifying Classes.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Points will be awarded as follows \u2013<\/p>\n

1st \u2013 10<\/p>\n

2nd \u2013 8<\/p>\n

3rd \u2013 6<\/p>\n

4th \u2013 4<\/p>\n

5th \u2013 3<\/p>\n

6th\u00a0 \u2013 2<\/p>\n

Unplaced Completion \u2013 1<\/p>\n

At the end of the season a presentation will be made with rosettes to the top six finishers in each class with prizes from 1st to 3rd.<\/p>\n

The Area Branch League will be determined by the addition of all the points from individuals representing their branch across all eight classes.<\/p>\n
