Sandroyd Tetrathlon and Triathlon June 2017

On Sunday 25th June, a small team of Beaufort competitors headed off to Sandroyd School for their Tetrathlon and Triathlon competition. A really beautiful setting for such a fun day with all the competitors in high spirits despite a long wait for the results that never arrived as the scoring system had gone severely wrong!
Super Mini’s Tetrathlon
The Super Mini Tetrathlon competitors kicked off the day with Laurie AL and Joe C in a mixed team with Hazelgrove School and New Forest PC. Laurie did a great run to come 2nd overall with Joe coming 3rd in the beanbags and 3rd in the run. Joe then went on to do a lovely clear round x country which meant he won his section individually with Laurie coming 5th and their team winning their section. Great effort boys!
Mini Boys
Xavier A and Tom C were in a mixed team of boys with Sandroyd School both having a great day including Tom doing a flying dismount after a ditch, after a short run to catch his pony he got on by himself and finished the course clear. Their team finished 2nd overall.
Mini Girls and Boys Triathlon
Jack R and Tabitha D were in a mixed team with Mendip Farmers. It was Jack’s first ever Tri and he did brilliantly getting 3rd individually for his shooting and 5th individually with their team coming 2nd overall.
Supermini Girls and Boys Triathlon
Sam D and Holly R were in a mixed team with Poole and District and Hursley. Like Jack it was Sam’s first ever Tri and also did brilliantly coming 2nd individually in the run and 6th individually overall. Holly got best swim and came 3rd individually their team came 4th overall.
All in all a really great day
