Pony Club Vaccination Rules<\/h2>\n

To protect the health of all horses and ponies and the biosecurity of the venue, the following rules will apply to all Pony Club activities. Members competing with other organisations, such as FEI, BHA and HPA, or at certain venues, for example racecourses, will need to comply with their vaccination requirements.<\/p>\n

No horse \/ pony may attend an activity, compete or be present as a companion unless it has a Record of Vaccination against equine influenza<\/strong> completed by the veterinary surgeon who gave the vaccination, signed and stamped line by line, which complies with the Minimum Vaccination Requirements set out in the Equine Influenza Vaccination Schedule.<\/p>\n

Pony Club Rules and Policies<\/h2>\n

The Pony Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all its members and the highest ideals of sportsmanship, citizenship and loyalty, to create strength of character and self-discipline.<\/p>\n

The Pony Club believes that it is important that members, parents \/ guardians, officials, volunteers and coaches should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.<\/p>\n

Members’ Insurance<\/h2>\n

Every Member receives insurance cover from Howden Insurance Brokers Ltd, to protect Members whilst taking part in Pony Club and other equestrian activities. You will find information below about the insurance cover and it is strongly recommended that Parents, Guardians and Members review the information regarding the insurance policy provided.<\/p>\n

Safeguarding<\/h2>\n

Safeguarding is everyone\u2019s responsibility and The Pony Club take Safeguarding very seriously. The Safeguarding Policy signposts a range of documents, provides guidance and key contacts to support those who may have concerns about a vulnerable child, young person or adult. The Branch Safeguarding Officer is available to discuss immediate concerns and you can visit the Resource Hub to find all the relevant documents.<\/p>\n
