2023 TEAMS

Team training starts on 5th January at Harrogate Equestrian Centre. There will be two groups per session and members will be invited to training via Whatsapp. 

70/80 training is with Jan Brown

80/90/100 training is with James Rushbrooke

Dressage training is with Cathy Burrell

There are 8 places available each week, so training is on a rota basis (we cannot accommodate your child at every session). Please let Emma Harris know of any commitments/injuries etc so that she can factor this in to the training invites (07711 664617).

Please note, to be selected for Teams, your child must be seen by the coach at least twice.

Qualifer Dates as follows:

CHATSWORTH & BRAMHAM TEAM SELECTION DATES

CRITERIA FOR CHATSWORTH & BRAMHAM SELECTION

• 2 trainings must be attended (preferably this side of the new year)
• final TRAINING  before the selection date to allow for any one who hasn’t yet managed to attend on the outdoor surface at Harrogate during the Easter holidays – this training must be attended if you wish to be considered for Chatsworth or Bramham
• performance at training
• child’s attitude towards helpers, traniners, other parents, other riders and venue owners/staff
• performance in previous shows at the same level (on horse wishing to compete not previous horses/ponies)
• child’s ability to work as a team and be supportive of other riders.

As you are all aware these teams at these events are prestigious and many people wish to have a place, unfortunately not everyone will get their chance but we strive to always give riders a chance, and if it’s not to be this time other opportunities will arise.

Due to the high demand one rider will NOT be able to compete at both competitions and must choose between which they prefer.
