Everyone is welcome to come and have a go at Mounted Games. You don’t need a ‘games’ pony, but he/she does need to be under 14.2hh.
Mounted Games is all about team work, having fun with your friends, riding your pony, learning new skills and keeping fit at the same time.
Ever dreamt of riding at the Horse of the Year Show?
A week of competition in front of 3500 people every day. Televised to thousands more.
Living, breathing, eating and sleeping with like minded friends and family.
Sharing the highs, lows, and excitement that the Prince Philip Cup brings to you and your pony.
The special bond you can achieve with your equine partner that has come after years of training and that’s not forgetting the lifelong friendships that are made with your team mates who will all live the dream with you.
If you fancy a taste of the unique opportunity that mounted games can bring, come along to training.
No-one is excluded as long as they are on a pony under 14.2 and are 15 years or under themselves.
Juniors have their own championships to aim for, which provides the skills to advance to the senior competition and ultimately a chance of making it to HOYS!!
Along the way your pony will become more obedient, supple and will enjoy every moment of competing. As a rider you’ll become more balanced and with suberb hand-eye coordination and you’ll get fitter! What’s not to like?
All we ask for is a level of commitment to training, which is weekly and to be as available as is possible for competitions during the year.
So come on what’s keeping you???
Give it a go.!!
If you aren’t sure why not watch the short 5 minute film made by Sky TV about Bramham Moor’s 2005 HOYS appearance on You Tube. Just type in Bramham HOYS 2005 and it should come up.
