Welcome to our Branch of The Pony Club. We have Members from the age of 4-25, who participate in a variety of activities, from Rallies, Competitions, Tests and Camp. The Pony Club is a unique youth equestrian organisation, providing the opportunity to participate in 9 different sports. At our Branch we focus on Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing, Polocrosse, Mounted Games, Polo, Pony Racing, Tetrathlon and Endurance.

The Pony Club has been the starting point for a large majority of equestrian team members, equine professionals, and medal winners. Training is at the heart of The Pony Club, providing opportunities to build knowledge on improving equine welfare, rider safety and enabling Members to develop lifelong skills, alongside riding, and having fun!

Brecon & Talybont Hunt Pony Club – Area 10

The Brecon & Talybont Hunt Branch was established in 1958 and is part of Pony Club Area 10. We are a small but active branch based in the glorious Brecon Beacons. Our members participate in a variety of activities including Rallies, Competitions, Tests and Camps.

Our Club is very friendly, encouraging our Members to take part in many different equine sports including Mounted Games, Showjumping, Eventing, Dressage, Endurance and Tetrathlon.  Our Club is a fantastic way to make life-long friends and learn all aspects of horse care and riding.

Come along to an informative session and training at Talgarth Fire Station on Saturday 27th April.

Come together as a club, all ages & abilities, get to know each other & work towards your badges/tests along with a training session. Instruction by Andrea Parsons & Kate Gedge. Rosie Lord supporting with Badges. Riddles & rhymes to find the treasure.

Show Jumping Clinic with Aaron Nobbs

Show Jumping Clinic on Saturday 6th April at Trefeinon with Aaron Nobbs. Book via horse-events. Entries close Sunday 31st March. Entries are open to other PC’s with limited availability so please book on early to avoid disappointment.

2024 Brecon & Talybont Summer Camp

The dates for camp this year are Saturday 27th – Monday 29th July 2024 at Trefeinon. As soon as we have all the details finalised we will let you know. Sign up will be via Horse Events.

A message from Zoe Kennerley & Richard Mosley, UK Tetrathlon Team Managers
We are excited to announce the squad selected to represent the United Kingdom Tetrathlon team for the 2024 International Exchange taking place in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and England in July & August 2024.
The selectors were very impressed with the attitude to training, and the standard at the selection weekend was extremely high. We are very much looking forward to seeing you all perform this summer.
Final team selection will take place later in the year.
