What a Day at Area 6 Show Jumping!

Hosted by the Quorn Pony Club, our Burghley riders shone with dazzling ponies, strong results, and unbeatable team spirit at the Area 6 Show Jumping Qualifiers last weekend. Cheering each other on in the scorching heat, they delivered performances to be proud of, and secured places at both the Regional and National Championships!

🏆 Highlights:

70cm
🥇 Team 1st for the Burghley Wizards: Silva, Sophia, Willow, and Dexter, who have all qualified for Regionals.
👏 Individual placings: Dexter 6th, Silva 7th.
🙌 Burghley Challengers (Wilfred, Sophia, Eilhah, Alice T) took 10th, with Wilfred and Sophia qualifying as individuals.

80cm
🎉 Silva qualified individually in 15th.

90cm
💪 Burghley Brigade (Maddie, Ava, Holly, Laura) finished 6th.
🌟 Burghley Pioneers (Flora on two rides, Flo, Emily) close behind in 8th.

100cm
🥉 Burghley Titans (Tilda, Ava, Flora, and Faith) stormed to 3rd place to qualify for Nationals. Tilda jumped double clear for 7th individually, while Ava just missed out on a top 10 place.

From our youngest at nine to those on new rides, everyone showed real grit, determination and style in the heat. Massive thanks to Emily, Eilhah, Flora, and Alice T for stepping in last-minute, and to Matthew Firth and Camilla for their course walking and cool-headed support.
