A warm welcome to the Cattistock Pony Club

Founded in 1931, the Cattistock Hunt Branch of the Pony Club is one of the oldest branches in the country and continues to thrive with nearly sixty active members ranging in age from 3 to 18.

Based in West Dorset and run entirely by volunteers, we are part of Area 14, which consists of 20 other branches across Wessex. A warm and friendly Pony Club, we offer something for everyone. Together with our team of high calibre instructors, we strive to cater for all ages and abilities, from tots on the lead rein to teenagers eventing at 110cm.

We run a huge range of activities and events in fantastic local indoor and outdoor venues catering for our three age groups, minis (approx. 3-6 yrs), juniors (approx. 6-10 yrs) and seniors (11yrs and above), and covering a wide variety of disciplines. Members are instructed in small groups of similar ability.

Activities include regular general rallies aimed at bringing members together, improving riding and boosting confidence, specialist training clinics, unmounted care and stable management rallies, Pony Club tests and badges, social events and local, Inter-Branch and Area Team competitions, as well as our extremely popular annual summer camps.
