Founded in 1930, we are one of the oldest branches in the country, with over 100 members of all ages and abilities

As part of Area 13, we are a medium sized branch covering the area ranging from Dunsfold, Hascombe, Chiddingfold & Godalming in the North, to Liphook, Milland, Fernhurst & Rogate in the South.  We are small enough to be friendly and know everyone but big enough to be competitive: we compete at all disciplines in local and Area competitions (from Eventing to Tetrathlon and Triathlon) and unmounted Horse & Pony Care Competitions.

Our Facebook Page  is great for keeping up to date with what’s on, results and photos and, in addition to this we have our instagram account #ChiddingfoldPC

If you would like to know more about what we do, please get in touch and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have and we can arrange for you to come to a “taster session” to meet us and see what we do.

Best wishes

Liz and Lara (DC)

We have been regularly represented at the PC National Championships and Regional Championships for many years as well as the National Tetrathlon Championships and Winter Triathlon Championships.

However, we are not a branch that is all about competing: we have lots of members who do not compete but want simply to enjoy being part of a club that caters for their passion for riding. Our youngest riders, including those on the Lead Rein, are catered for in the TADPOLES group who meet regularly for either a ridden rally or an unmounted one: learning through fun, gaining Achievement Badges and making friends is what Tadpoles is all about!
We run CAMP each year: this is residential for Seniors and non-residential for Juniors (10 and under).
We also run our own Junior Show, One Day Event and Tetrathlon.
Our aim is to cater for everyone in all that we do, including our ridden rallies and stable management sessions as well as specialist training in Dressage, Show Jumping & Cross Country.  We have an active Tetrathlon community and offer regular shooting training for this.

We have members aged 3 to 23, of all abilities and we offer something for everyone including:

  • Regular working rallies for all age groups and abilities from lead rein to B test
  • Junior Show in May
  • Branch Junior Show in August
  • Summer Camps for all ages
  • The opportunity to take all Pony Club tests
  • Support for older members wishing to progress with their coaching qualifications
  • Active teams in Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing and Tetrathlon/Triathlon

Facilities and instructors for all disciplines, at all levels, are excellent:

  • Twesledown, Coombelands, Iping, Munstead and Fairoak for x-country schooling
  • Fairoak for our ODE
  • Higbrook, Merrist Wood, Parwood and Priory for rallies
  • Hearne Farm & Chase Farm for working rallies & Tadpoles sessions
  • Eventing Clinics through the winter
  • Dressage training from beginner to open level
  • Sociable Tadpole sessions to earn badges
