Lisa Hamilton – BHSAI, NLP Coach and Practitioner, BA (hons) Business and Dip. M.

Lisa has competed successfully in Eventing and Dressage, winning and placing up to 1* level Eventing whilst competing professionally for many years both here and in the USA.

Lisa’s passion is correct flat work and she won the RC National Championships Riding Test a few years ago with a record 94% test. She competes her own horse at advanced medium and continues to train with many excellent trainers including Spanish Riding School chief riders Arthur Kottas and Herwig Radnetter, and works continually to refine her teaching to be a modern interpretation of the classical school.

With a love of teaching and sharing the sport she adores, Lisa now focuses mostly on coaching and training riders for success in Pony Club events, Grassroots BE Horse Trials and BD Dressage. Her area of expertise is based on her passion for teaching both the “how to” and the “why”, with empathy for the horses, so that her students can learn to be proactive, caring, thinking riders that can go on to train their own horses well.

Lisa has a teenage son, Brandon, who has been a keen member of the PC since the age of 4 and with his new horse he hopes to represent the branch and do some affiliated competitions this year.

Andy Hurley – NSRA Range Conducting Officer and Instructor and Pony Club registered shooting instructor.

Andy teaches air pistol for our tetrathlon and triathlon competitors. He is ex RAF where he shot ‘proper’ pistols (and still attempts to when travelling in the US). Currently he shoots 10m air pistol, shotguns and full bore rifle in which he competes at Bisley. He can also be found running the range at Pony Club competitions and has been involved in area training days and the Pony Club National Tetrathlon Easter Camp at Bishop Burton.

Andy thoroughly enjoys coaching at all levels be it an 8 year olds first shoot, or the small ‘tweaks’ needed for an experienced shooter.
