The annual summer camp is a long standing tradition of the Pony Club.\u00a0 Camp for many members is the highlight of the PC calendar.\u00a0 We are very fortunate to have the use of the facilities at Stowell Park, near Northleach to run three summer camps with fabulous countryside all around.\u00a0 All three camps have lots of room to practice flatwork as well as various show jumping courses and cross country jumps to hone the members\u2019 skills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

2024 Camp dates:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Senior Camp<\/strong> at Stowell Park \u2013 Sunday 21st to Friday 26th July
\nJunior Camp<\/strong> at\u00a0 Oxpens, Stowell \u2013 Monday 22nd to Friday 26th July

MINI CAMP (6 years and under)<\/b><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Mini camp is for members 6 years and under and runs for 3 days with a slightly shorter day. Many of these members are on the leading rein.\u00a0 They have a mix of instruction, games and more games and a picnic ride down to the river (for a very competitive boat race after the picnic).<\/p>\n

JUNIOR CAMP (11 years and under)<\/b><\/p>\n

Junior Camp runs for 5 days and children arrive at Oxpens each day for lots of instruction and fun.\u00a0 Children\u2019s abilities range from the complete novice to the accomplished and the emphasis is on fun and learning how to enjoy your pony and how to look after him well.\u00a0\u00a0 Each day there are various unmounted activities that members join in with in order that the ponies get a rest.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

SENIOR CAMP (11 years & over)<\/b><\/p>\n

We are delighted to be able to run Senior Camp at Stowell park again this year. There will be 3 options to choose from:

\nOPTION 2 \u2013 Residential without pony\/horse<\/strong>
\nOPTION 3 \u2013 Residential with pony\/horse<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
