District Commissioner
After saying a fond farewell to the fabulous Barbie Coulson at the end of 2023 we are still on the look out for a new DC. If you’d be interested in being involved or know someone who might be please do get in touch!

Turnout
Members are advised to please remember our turnout rules for anyone attending rallies

Riders

  • Correctly fitted hat with navy, black or brown hat cover if applicable, and with the correct hat tag.
  • Hair must be secured in a hair net.
  • No jewellery
  • Pony club Jacket or PC sweatshirt – No hooded jumpers or coats (this is a safety issue)
  • Clean gloves, shirt or Pony Club polo shirt  or pony club base layer for XC
  • Correctly fitting back protector to current standards when required
  • Jodhpurs should be beige, white or cream if possible
  • Long brown or black boots or black or brown jodhpur boots with or without chaps.
  •  All boots must be clean with safe sole.Ponies
  • Horses/ponies should be clean and respectable, we do not expect spotless ponies in the depths of winter, but expect a ‘best effort.’
  • Tack should be clean, safe and of good quality and comply with PC rules.
  • Numnahs and saddle pads black, brown, navy or white.

There are good reasons for these requirements
A. for your own safety and
B. it shows respect to whoever is coaching who will most likely be well turned out themselves.

We are very lucky to use some fantastic and professional venues where you are representing the Cottesmore Pony Club so lets make sure we are identifiable for the right reasons.
