2023 Competition Planning and Team Managers

 

The summer competition season starts off in earnest in March/April with an ever-increasing number of competitions to go to.

The Cottesmore kick off on 

7th (Good Friday) Arena Eventing at Aylesford

and hope to see everyone there. 

After that:

21st May Cottesmore Junior and Novice Show

27th/28th May Cottesmore Triathlon, Tetrathlon and Hunter Trials (open to all)

11th June Cottesmore Show Jumping

15th/16th July Area 6 Horse Trials Qualifiers hosted by The Cottesmore

Entries for all these events can be made through the Horse Events website, https://www.horse-events.co.uk/

NB. Area Horse Trials entries are made by the branch, not individual members,

There are also PC Show Jumping competitions held on:

20th May: Rockingham International Horse Trials on  (classes PC 70,80 and 90) 

13th May: Chatsworth International Horse Trials (classes PC80 and PC100) 

30th September: Osberton International Horse Trials  (classes PC 70,80 and 90).

Keep an eye on on our Fb pages Cottesmore Pony Club and Cottesmore Pony Club Events for the competitions with links to the Horse Events website so that you can make all your entires in time.

Please speak with the relevant team managers to make sure that you are included in all teams etc. They will be thrilled to hear from you and will want to see you jumping at the level at which you wish to compete.

To compete as a team member at the Area qualifiers the Pony Club requires members to be active members of the Club which they are representing. What this means is described in the document attached. Area 6 Eligibilty 2023
