\"\"Welcome to the Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club<\/strong><\/h5>\n

We are a friendly, active branch with members from West Cumbria, the Lake District and the Eden Valley.<\/p>\n

Established in 1957, our branch is part of Area 2 and continues to offer children and young people the chance to learn, ride, compete, make friends and enjoy being part of Pony Club life. In 2026, we are proud to have over 40 members, and we welcome both ridden and non-ridden members.<\/p>\n

We hold regular rallies throughout the year across a wide range of activities, including mounted games, dressage, show jumping, equitation, show preparation and more. We also run stable management rallies, helping members work towards their Pony Club badges and build confidence in caring for ponies.<\/p>\n

Our branch is very active in Area and National competitions, with members regularly taking part across different disciplines. In 2026, we were delighted to qualify for the finals of both the Pony Club Quiz Championships and the Horse & Pony Care Championships.<\/p>\n

Alongside rallies and training, we hold our own competitions and events throughout the year, from members\u2019 fun days to open shows. We aim to run several open shows each year, welcoming both Pony Club members and non-members.<\/p>\n

We also hold camps, social events and our end-of-season presentation evening, giving members plenty of opportunities to get involved, learn new skills and celebrate their achievements.<\/p>\n

Thinking of Joining Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club?<\/h2>\n

If you\u2019re interested in joining Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club but would like to see what we\u2019re all about first, we offer potential new members the chance to come along to up to two taster rallies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Taster rallies are a great way to meet some of our members, get a feel for the club and see how Pony Club works before joining. You can choose from either a ridden rally or a stable management rally, depending on what suits you best.<\/p>\n

We are a small, friendly and active club, and we\u2019re always happy to welcome new faces \u2014 whether you have your own pony, share a pony, ride regularly, or are interested in joining as a non-ridden member.<\/p>\n

Once you\u2019ve found a rally you\u2019d like to attend, please contact us through the Cumberland Foxhounds Pony Club Facebook page<\/strong><\/a> or email cumberlandfoxhounds@pcuk.org<\/a><\/strong> to register your interest.<\/p>\n
